iOS 10 Latest News & Update: Apple Seeding iOS 10.2.1 Beta 3 Update To Developers (VIDEO)

As Apple Inc. celebrated iPhone line’s 10th year anniversary, the Cupertino based tech company has released the iOS 10.2.1 beta 3 ahead of the release of an official update for its tablet and smartphone series. Wherein, all the registered developers can download the new beta software from the company’s Developer Center or OTA with the proper configuration profile installed.

The tech giant is seeding to all registered developers the third beta build of the forthcoming iOS 10.2.1 software update. The release comes almost a month since Apple launched iOS 10.2.1 beta 2. Though the release notes of the iOS 10.2.1 beta 3 are still void of specific details, the new beta software is expected to come along with only minor changes to the table, according to App Advice.

The new beta software appears to be a minor update, so Apple device users could only expect a few bug fixes and performance enhancements to come with the new beta. Just like the tech giant’s previous pre-release betas, the iOS 10.2.1 beta 3 may not have new features to flaunt for developers.

Nevertheless, the build code of the iOS 10.2.1 beta 3 software is 14D23. Similar to other Apple’s beta software releases this week, the iOS 10.2.1 beta 3 update is also said to offer compatibility, security and stability to iOS-running devices. This is for the reason that the new betas focus mainly on the maintenance, Apple Insider reported.

In spite of that, the late Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced the first iPhone on Jan. 9, 2007 during the Macworld convention. Five months prior to the first iPhone’s official release to the tech world on June 29, 2007.

In addition, the App Store welcomed 2017 with its busiest day ever. On New Year’s Day, Apple fans approximately spent $240 million worth of apps and in-app purchases. The developers have earned a cumulative $60 billion from the recorded sale of games and apps since last year.
