HTC is expected to once again enter the highly competitive flagship smartphone market swinging and ready to take on the big boys with its new HTC Ocean/HTC 11 flagship device. The company, of course, hasn’t yet announced anything official about the new phone, but a new leak seems to be giving consumers their first glimpse at the highly awaited new HTC flagship.
The brand new leak is courtesy of the well-known tech leaker Evan Blass, aka @evleaks. The tipster posted a video, which seems to look like a legitimate promotional clip for the new HTC 11 flagship. At first glance, viewers will most likely instantly notice that the new HTC Ocean/HTC 11 looks to be sporting a premium all-metal build with an edge to edge display.

The curved display with zero bezels on the left and right side of the phone seems to mirror the design of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The promotional video also prominently showcases how the phone can be used with just one hand thanks to the functional edges that can apparently be used as a scroller and a button to select different apps and perform different functions.
It is also very likely that the quick launch area on either side of the device is customizable, with users being able to assign different apps and commands. The alleged HTC 11 on the video is also shown to have no physical button, but it does look like there are some capacitive keys on the bottom. The camera on the device is also positioned similar to the HTC One A9, where the unit is placed in the middle of the device’s upper portion.
HTC is expected to launch several new devices this week, on a scheduled unveiling event happening tomorrow, Jan 12. Some of the phones that are expected to be launched are the HTC Alpine/HTC U-Play, HTC Ocean Note/HTC U Ultra, and the HTC E66/HTC One X10. On the other hand, the HTC 11 is expected to be launched at a later date, possibly at the upcoming 2017 Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in late February and early March. Source: mobilenapps
