Nintendo Switch is not yet out in the market but people seems to know a lot about it already. This is because, various speculations about the console are being published left and right. There are even alleged leaks but not everything might be right since Nintendo only confirmed a few details.

As the release date for Nintendo Switch draws near, new report has emerged and it talks about the supposed price of the much-awaited console. The information seems legit because it was reported by popular Japanese financial paper called Nikkei.

The publication relayed that the upcoming Nintendo console will retail at 25,000 in Japanese Yen. If converted to American dollars, the suggested price will be around $250 while it will be £179 in U.K.

Although the low price should make fans happy, they are worried instead because the product might be made of substandard parts. This is because, there is a glaring price difference with its rival consoles like PlayStation 4 which was sold for about $400 when it was released while Xbox One was priced at $500 when it was launched.

Then again, the price point of just $250 may not be final yet. These are still considered estimates as Nintendo has not confirmed anything yet until now. Moreover, Nikkei publication, the first to report about the 25,000 Yen retail price of Nintendo Switch, stressed that the given amount is just the average figure that they predicted.

Meanwhile, the good news is that the confirmation about the price and release date of Nintendo Switch may come soon. Forbes reported that Nintendo’s Switch press conference has been scheduled for Jan. 12.

During this livestream event, the video gaming system producer is expected to share new details about the upcoming console. Fans are also expecting that Nintendo will announce “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” as the first game to be available for Nintedo Switch. Source: mobilenapps
