Apple Seeds iOS 10.2.1 Beta 3 Update To Registered Developers

Today, Apple issues the new developer betas of their iOS 10.2.1, MacOS 10.12.3, watchOS 3.1.3 and tvOS 10.1.1. All the registered developers can download the iOS 10.2.1 beta 3 from the Apple Developer Center or over-the-air (OTA) with the proper configuration profile installed.

Apple Seeds iOS 10.2.1 Beta 3 Minor Update

In the released notes of Apple, it didn’t mention any new features. The software is more than likely to offers behind-the-scenes improvements and other minor bug fixes. According to AppAdvice, this update looks to be minor, but the next release is shaping up to be more interesting – even at least according to a recent rumor.

Well-known Apple blogger Sonny Dickson said last week that iOS 10.3 will be sporting a new feature called the “Theatre Mode.” It could be similar to the dark mode in MacOS. Aside from that, Apple also released 2 other beta versions of software such as the watchOS 3.1.3 beta 2 and tvOS 10.1.1 beta 2. Like on the iOS update, both of those beta updates offer minor changes.

According to Apple Insider, both the third beta of iOS 10.2.1 and the third beta of MacOS Sierra 10.12.3 are now available to registered developers. While the iOS 10.2.1 beta 3 is identified as the build 14D23 and MacOS Sierra 10.12.3 beta 3 is identified as the build 16D25a.

As reported by the Apple News Developer, the App Store welcomed 2017 with its busiest day ever. On New Year’s Day, with customers approximately the world spending $240 million on apps and in-app purchases. With that, the developers earned over $20 billion last year and to date have earned a cumulative $60 billion from the recorded sale of apps and games.
