The Top Laptops And Notebooks Of CES 2017

A Best of List from the recently-concluded CES 2017 will not be complete without discussing laptops and notebooks. Here is the cream of the crop:

Dell XPS 13 2-in-1

The current trend in laptops seems to be being a hybrid. Dell is currently leading the pack with the introduction of the latest XPS 13. The laptop utilizes a 360-degree hinge to turn from laptop to tablet in an instant. It is powered by the Intel Core i5 and i7 Y-series CPUs, packs 3,200 x 1,800 pixels resolutions in its Gorilla Glass displays and a two webcam lenses.

HP Elite x360

The Elite x360 is a lightweight (2.8 pounds and 0.59 inches thick) 13-inch hybrid laptop with 4K display that had businessmen and women as inspirations. Aside from its portability, the latest HP laptop keeps everything secure with its Sure View privacy feature. This is useful when the user doesn’t want any top secret company or work information from getting leaked. It also runs on the latest 7th gen processor and has an active pen which is definitely a plus for business people.

Razer Project Valerie

It may still be a concept but it made so much noise at the CES 2017 that it might as well be the top laptop in the recent show. Project Valerie will sport three 4K screens giving the gamer a 12K resolution experience. It will also have the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPU and Nvidia Surround View.

Samsung Chromebook Pro

The Chromebook has become an important tool of the trade now that Samsung has come up with a 2-in-1 hybrid device that runs on Chrome OS. It sports a quad HD touch screen and great for running Android apps from the Google Play Store.

Samsung Notebook 9

Troubled tech giant Samsung is starting 2017 on a high note with a number of new products including the Notebook 9. Both the 13- and 15-inch variants are some of the lightest notebooks around and in fact, lighter than the MacBook Pro, which is known for its weight or rather the lack of it.

The Notebook 9 also has the latest 7th gen Kaby Lake processor under its hood along with up to 16GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and 2GB Nvidia GeForce 950MX GPU. It also has the Adaptive Fast Charge feature which allows fast charging of up to 80 minutes in just 20 minutes of charging. Source: itechpost
